Yesterday was quite an eventful day. I had a nice time with the team in the office. Had loads of fun with Manish, Prashant and Soumen. Spent a lot of time in convincing Prashant to come out this weekend. I really want to go on some adventure trip just for the weekend and since Prashant and gone along to Goa, I thought he fit the bill.
Anyways, in the afternoon, it was quite a chaos. Everyone was trying to find out where one of our colleague was. Our manager was looking out for him. It is my speculation that he was fired eventually. I haven't witnessed anything of this sort earlier and it was quite tough to empathize with that person, although he never told this to anyone. Being in a managerial position, there are few insider things that I come to know off and so know what happened in his case. Anyways, I wish him all the best and pray that he improves in the areas where he failed miserably. To top it all, I hope he finds a good mentor in life and not the kind he had here.
Later in the day I got caught in one urgent issue and spent few hours in that. Eventually I was able to reach home by 2000Hrs and immediately rushed to the gym. My share of surprises weren't over for the day. I met Suraj Miranda there. While I was studying engineering in Belgaum he was my neighbour. I was so glad to meet him after almost six years of no communication. We decided to come to gym regularly. It was nice to meet someone you have known after a long hiatus.
Later in the night, I called up my sis. It was nice talking to her. Basically, we bitched about relatives for a long time. :-) Sometimes that's fun too..
Anyways, before sleeping, I watched some TV. Ok.. I dont want to hide. :-) I was watching WWE :-) and was quite thrilled to see match between : on one side: Bobby Lashley and John Cena and on the other side, Samoa, Shane and Khali. :-) it was awesome fun..
Finally I gave up and surrendered to sleep.
